Summer Reading
I have fallen behind this year in my reading. I feel that I have been side swiped and don't know where all my time has gone. So I had hopes this summer to get some solid reading in. Normally I read a book cover to cover before I start on a new one but I have had to start reading a couple books before the previous ones are finished because of a time frame set on them for a group project thing. Anyways I am 3/4 of the way through Dune, about half way through Intercessor and only a few chapters into this financial makeover book. I'm really excited about the financial makeover book, don't worry I'm not in financial ruins or anything but I think it will be a good book to read to get my financial booty kicked into gear so I can work on getting a retirement plan started, pay off the last bits of student loans and make financially smart choices now early on in life.
Then there is the Geoffrey Canada book I have had my eye on ever since I heard him speak on NPR, Fist Stick Knife Gun, which I found at Half Price Books the other day. So many books, so little time.
