2 days

TWO days! Two days and I will be headed towards my home away from home. Just have a few last minute things to accomplish and a few people to visit and I will be ready to roll.

Following church this morning, I had lunch and saw "The A-team" with my dad. I have never really watched the 1980's show of The A-Team before. I really enjoyed it! Great action scenes with a sense of humor and some unexpected twists. Also I love that Liam Neeson's character would be making a plan and explaining it to the team and as he was explaining it the plan would be played out with his explanation as a narration. Great touch. I saw another 1980's classic this weekend, I saw Karate Kid with my momma. Really it should have been Kung Fu Kid because he was in China learning Kung Fu but whatev. I think as long as you are not constantly comparing it to the original Karate Kid, it was pretty good. I feel it gave a little nod towards the original and certain elements were present but wasn't really a remake or anything. I think it would have been to their advantage to call it something else.

Below I have a prayer card I made for this up coming mission's trip. It isn't the greatest picture of me, but I really wanted a picture that had me with my little buddy Ricardo. Please pray over us. Pray for safety, good health and that we will be effective. That we will be sensitive to G-d and the people there. I really want to see hope restored.

Either you are busting out Haiti pictures I've never seen or I wasn't very attentive the first time I went through them. These are all so incredible and I'm going to miss your daily posts once you go.

These are pictures from my previous trip that I put on display but I didn't really emphasize them. That is why I have been posting those ones in particular so that it doesn't feel like I am showing the same things over and over again. You are too kind though, I fear that my daily posts aren't that great though (not like all my other posts are sheer gold or anything), I fear they are more boring though.
